During Lao New Year, Lao people always throw water as a blessing for good luck in the new year. They usually use perfume and flowers inside the water.
On Lao New Year day, people will come to join the Miss Lao New Year procession on the main street of Luang Pra Bang center from Wat That temple to Wat Xieng Thong temple. This picture is along the way to Wat Xieng Thong and people throw water to bless the king " Kabinlaphom's head". The next day, the procession will return back to Wat That again.
